Lotus in Starnberg

Once and never again ! Not worth a star! Ordered food for us via delivery service (because of Corona), roast duck with sweet and sour sauce and fried noodles (an additional € 2 surcharge for the noodles per portion). This was the worst and most expensive Asian food we have ever eaten. The rice that was included tasted like nothing, without salt or any other flavor. All the food smelled of chemicals and tasted like that, whether it came from the packaging or from the food itself, we couldn't find out. In the end everything was lukewarm and so it was very disappointing and so unfortunately most of it ended up in the bin

Food was always great. Ordered again today and unfortunately the quality has deteriorated. The duck was dry and not crispy, the chicken was also dry and rather tasteless. It's a shame, because with the Vietnamese in Söcking you now have a very strong competitor. Prices are rather high. The staff is friendly and quick, that's why 4 stars, the food was only 3 stars today.

Delicious food to take away and have it delivered

Very friendly Vietnamese people conjure up delicious dishes with warm service, also to take away. The duck in peanut sauce is a dream. I last eaten delicious so good on Koh Samui. Thank you 🙏 for the wonderful moments we were able to enjoy here. We would love to come back ... Highly recommended. 🔝

The peanut sauce was the best I've tried so far. Next time I'll have sushi. I think it tastes good too. Clear recommendation and very nice, attentive service! Five stars

All in all, really good sushi. Great in combination with the small Asian starters. When we're back in Starnberg, we'll definitely come again Nevertheless, I virtually give a star deduction, as the ambience is more suitable for a stand-up snack. But you know that you can often eat fantastic in the simplest restaurants.

At lunchtime there is always a small "quick selection" (fried noodles, chicken with various sauces and rice, spring rolls) and sushi boxes for € 5.50 each. I prefer one of the lunch dishes that are freshly prepared. They have the advantage that they are served in the usual bowls, in which rice and sauce are separated. For the quick dishes, everything comes together in an aluminum bowl so that part of the sauce is absorbed by the rice.

The food is delicious and the staff is very nice. We get something here almost every week.

Good quality, everything freshly prepared. Very attentive staff.

Some dishes are not really cheap, but the quality is at least right. Highly recommended are the dishes Bo La Lot, Bun Bo Nam Bo (unfortunately very overpriced) and the summer roles Goi Cuon. With the latter, it would be great if you could also get them with Hoisin sauce. Pickup get discount - because you can get over some prices. In the underground garage you can park for one hour for free. Very friendly staff !

We were so thrilled at the first visit that we were there again the next day. The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend this restaurant 100% and would eat here again anytime.
